And I have started the new baby for the giveaway winner, Erika, but the light is terrible and I’m ready for bed, so I’ll have to try tomorrow or so.
Erika, you are the winner!!! Congratulations!!
Thank you to everyone who entered, I will be posting pictures as things progress. Right now is just the washing stage, so that doesn’t have anything to show lol
I hereby bring you this news update lol
The Giveaway… the package is in Utah, on it’s way as of yesterday, priority mail, so it should be here tomorrow (technically, the 3rd), though it could be as early as today because Bountiful Baby ships super fast. Right now there are 30 people who emailed me, so there are still quite a few out there who haven’t gotten in on this yet (I have 597 likes on Facebook, so those people should see my feed, and 98 subscribers on my blog/website, so they should be seeing this too). Hmmm, just dawned on me that I should send an email out to my email newsletter followers so they get a heads-up on this. oops! Going to go do that now.
Ok, my wip custom is still waiting for hair, no tracking number on that, and coming from Canada, so I don’t know how long it will take.
The twin Rosebuds are just sooooo sweet and coming along just fabulous! The little girl wanted a tad bit of hair, which she got, so now we are waiting for the glue to dry to see them born together.
I announced a while back that, when I reached 100 babies, I would give the 100th away to one of my customer/followers. Well, I am happy to announce that I am currently working on my 99th baby!!
The little preemies have been my favorite the last month, so this (the 99th) will be a Rosebud baby girl. The 100th will be Teagan I just finished painting a custom Teagan and remembered how much I love this Little One:
Still needs hair, of course, and this isn’t the same coloring or tones the baby will have, but this will give you an idea of the sculpt. The 100th baby will not be a custom, the winner will win the baby however I choose to create it, but I will update them with pictures along the way so they can see the progress and their baby being born. The baby will come with an outfit, pacifier, birth certificate, and blanket.
To enter the giveaway: Send an email to email@example.com (my email address) with 100th Baby Giveaway as the email title/subject. Then, in the body, just put your name. Your name or your email MUST match one that is following me on Facebook or has subscribed to my blog (this is to keep people who only visit the website for this giveaway from winning, so the winner will be one of my actual customers/followers).
I’ll be choosing a winner by random drawing as soon as I start the 100th baby. This will make it more fun, as there will be no certain deadline, just as long as it takes it to get here (just ordered it today), so anywhere from 2-4 days. So get those entries in ASAP and get the chance to win my 100th baby!!!
Good luck everyone!!!
So I started a custom the other day. Painting began yesterday morning on little Teagan, she’s going to be so cute Got the mottling washes done, the first couple of skin and detailing washes done, and going to be doing more this morning. Pictures later!
So, for the last week, we (myself, my children, and my mom) have been working on painting our family room. What a job! The primer and the paneling did not like each other and the white primer turned yellow/brown, even the second coat. It took four coats of our semi-gloss wall paint to cover it! The primer also turned yellow on the ceiling, but only a little and two coats of ceiling paint covered it.
The house had really nice wood trim, so we covered that with painting tape (completely, since we are messy painters lol) and kept it I think the result turned out very nice!
