I have been thinking about doing a simple babies option, where the dolls are made to be very inexpensive and able to be played with. They would be painted one-of-a-kind reborn, as are all my Little Ones, but with not quite so many washes, to cut down on time and price. The sculpt would be inexpensive, the body with no plastic joints (which can break if handled too much or too roughly), and they would either be bald or with a wig (to cut out mohair and rooting time and price, plus to make them more durable as rooted hair has to be taken care of properly).

I was going to call them simple babies, but then while doing a dogpile search I was reminded that TNGUN has a Simple Treasure Series and I felt the names were just too similar. So I went back to thinking and came up with “Classic reborn Babies”, which I dogpiled and couldn’t find anything so I think it’s available

And so I would like to introduce my first Classic Reborn – Ashley:

Ashley could be a boy or girl, your choice (depending what color outfit you dress baby in), is preemie size, and is made from the Secrist sculpt Jasmine. Ashley is up for adoption, for $100 plus shipping.
