As you know, I was thinking of sculpting fairy ears onto a kit, like I’ve done in the past, but I really don’t enjoy the process. During a search online, to see if there is an easier way or if there are ANY other fairy babies out there, I came across a reborn artist who sculpts ears onto sculpts quite often. And she does it for others! So, for a really decent price, she would sculpt the ears onto whichever head I end up sending to her. 
She sent me pictures of different ears she’s done and I like them a lot. Some people would say this is cheating, but I don’t think it’s any more so than buying a sculpt instead of sculpting it myself. I can paint, but I can’t sculpt in somewhat the same way as someone sewing a dress can sew it but not make the pattern (they may modify it, or make one from another one, but they don’t make it from nothing). Ok, some people can, but not all of them

So I’m going to do this, and see how it works out. I’ll be posting pictures, after I get it ( which won’t be until I decide which sculpt to send).
The current wip, for the fundraiser, is almost done – pictures coming up sometime before Tuesday!
Some people can’t write, but they come up with ideas. Some people can’t come up with ideas, but they can write. Okay, so that actually doesn’t apply to babies, but it applies to this post. Having someone else sculpt the ears, is akin to buying glass eyes. is that better?
Yep
some people, like you, can come up with ideas and write, but not everybody can do that.
Someday I want to learn to sculpt, but it’ll take a whole lot of time and practice, and right now I’m just enjoying reborning.
A little known fact – some people actually draw/paint the eyes, but I like the look of glass eyes, especially the hand-blown ones.
